w8ndc
I just installed the 10.5.2 for AMD after a lot of efforts......The installation went pretty smoothly, and restarted. After I identified my keyboard, typed some country info, it came to a screen "do you already own a mac?" Then I selected the option" do not transfer my info now". After about 30 seconds, it rolled back the initial screen for identifying the keyboard!!! If I continued, it came back to the begining. and on and on..... Besides, I selected during installation ToH 9.2? and nforce chipset dirver, mbr boot and no other drivers. Can any one help me out of this? any suggestions? I have a dell inspiron 531 AMD 5000+ ATI 2600xt (But i took it out b/c it always gives me a garbage screen when I installs the mac, I just used the onboard integrated card) SATA DVD w/ usb external DVD (this is how I can install it!) SATA harddisk nforce chipset (I don't know the exact model) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91157-stucked-at-do-you-already-own-a-mac/ Share on other sites

w8ndc
Thank you guys! Actually I tried to unplug the ethernet cable but no help. Yes I tried to type in the password thing and do the applesetupdone thing. After reboot, the screen show the log in table. Should I try user name :root and my defined passwd?
