randall29
Hello everyone, and thanks for your fabulous community, which allowed me to make my PC run faster with Tiger= But my ISO is JAS 10.4.8, and I would like to install iLife 08 (which some of my family offered me lately, not knowing that it would'nt run on my PC). How can I upgrade to 10.4.11 (or, at least 10.4.9), without breaking my system? randall29
Well, looks like I hadn't searched enough… In fact, I don't need to upgrade my fully working system, I just have to change system version in /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist... Simple enough, no compatibility breakage. Some peaople said there are some problems with grageBand, I will try and post later. See ya! Thao
What if you do want to upgrade? I have 10.4.8 and I'd like to upgrade to 10.4.11. Want to make sure I have the latest system for Tiger. You can upgrade one at a time, but there is no magical fix to update from 10.3 to 10.5.2 or anything As for how to update one by one, I'll let you look for yourself, try starting in the Tutorials (Genius Bar).
