SaberSHO
I have a dual boot, with xp on 25gb partition and 10.4.3 on 15gb. I am using the windows boot loader to choose the os. It worked perfectly with 10.4.1, but since i upgraded to .3, i have to push f8 within seconds after selecting OSX in the boot menu. If i dont, it simply reboots the menu. Do i have to upgrade the chain0 file on the boot(xp) partition or is it a matter of some setting in the boot.plist. Also, can you force it to automatically boot from the second partition? ihave to manually select it everytime i boot. Thanks for any help. Try to change the startup disk in OSX86 from OSX to XP so it boots XP as default. You can also create a timeout from few seconds that the Darwin bootloader is waiting and you don't have press F8 quickly: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...he_boot_options Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9097-i-need-to-push-f8-within-seconds-to-boot/#findComment-56750 Share on other sites
