netchainer Posted February 29, 2008 Share Posted February 29, 2008 Hello i am following all the guide i found.. but no one speaks about my issue i have a 1.1.3 native, i do the downgrade, it remain in brick mode, i unbrick it.. reboot... but remain in 1.1.3.. do not go in 1.1.1.. on the irc if i remember well in the topics there were anything about that, but when i logged yesterday the topics rows talks only on 1.1.4. i think to be able to install 1.1.4 jb i need to start from a already jb iphone. SunLizard Posted March 1, 2008 Share Posted March 1, 2008 When you say "remains in brick mode" do you mean to say: "remains in DFU mode" (ie after ZiPhone install it reboots into the screen that asks you to connect to iTunes (pic of USB cable and iTunes Symbol)? If that is what you mean, this is normal. Just connect the phone to iTunes and restore you contacts. If the only option you have is RESTORE to Original settings, then perhaps you have a problem. (I still would not consider that bricked though) *IF you truly have a phone that won't restore properly, try doing the ZiPhone on a different computer than the one you normally use to Sync (if you use a Mac, try a windows machine w/ it or vice versa.)
