cosgrove
I had a great install going except for that I couldn't select my monitor's native resolution (1680x1050), it only listed 1024x768. I figured, "oh, this is probably pretty common," but I searched around and couldn't find anything except for the G5 driver trick (http://www.macgeekery.com/hacks/software/ati_displays_utility_on_a_mac_pro). I did what it said, made sure to recopy sysctl, and now when I boot, it looks like it's throwing an error on the video drivers (did a -v). It says geforce...but i've never install nvidia drivers on it. Is there a way to uninstall the package from single user mode or something? Do I have to reinstall fresh? Also, once I do fix it and/or reinstall, how can I go about fixing my resolution? I can't seem to find that anywhere...is everyone else's "just working"? I'm definitely checking the box during the install, don't even ask =P Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90802-zephyroth-1052-with-ati-x1900xt/ Share on other sites
