Wayfarer247
Okay, so I am testing various things on my computer, and Time Machine was one of them. I set up my External hard drive with Time machine fine, and Created a backup. But then I had to test to see if it would work, so I booted off of Kalyway's Installation dvd, and used the Time Machine option to restore Leopard. Nothing was wrong, but if something did go wrong, I wanted to make sure I could restore my computer back to a workable state. The restore went fine, but when I went back to boot.... I have Grub as a boot loader, and I clicked OS X Leopard, and I got the Grub Error 13. I don't really know what to do. Can anyone help me? Now It says: Loading Stage2 And hangs at that. My grub Entry says... title Mac OS X Leopard root (hd1,0) chainloader --force +1 ideas? MacUser2525
Time machine is useless for restoring a full backup of a hackintosh you need to at the very least manually re-install the EFI bootloader and several .kext/installers used can need to be redone as well. You can try the method to re-install the EFI in the URL below and for the rest you just need to see what stopped working and redo those parts. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...c=86167&hl= Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/90741-resolvedgrub-error-13-~-after-time-machine/#findComment-647910 Share on other sites

Next time I will ask you guys for the best backup ability... hehe. Thank you! Wayfarer247
Well, I didn't reinstall the EFI, but I did reinstall Leopard and then use the Time Machine backup to bring back my system. Not a bad trade off, but I won't do that stupid thing again. Thank you anyways!
