rashdriver Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 installed iAKTOS 10.5.1 (patched for AMD cpus) on my pc successfully replaced files edited kext with my friends help ... but getting a wiered thing.. its like when i boot,i get blank screen with a cursor blinking on upper lhs..tried flagging my partition.. then nillllll....used gparted for activating my partition stuck pc config is AMD64 Athelon Venice 3200+ ASUS A8N-VM mother board.. supports sse,sse2,sse3. If you only have one partition type 1, if your using more than one partition then figure out which partition it's installed on and use the right number accordingly. _______________ Boot off DvD in single user mode (press F8 & type -s). soundandvision88 Posted February 28, 2008 Share Posted February 28, 2008 Try the EqUaTe patch. Also try formatting your HD to FAT32 then erasing it to HFS+ with the Disk Utility. I had the same problem as you before. Doing both of those (not sure which one made the difference) I was able to get past the blinking cursor... But unfortunately now I just get this message on the apple boot screen telling me I need to "restart my computer"... Is there a way to re write the bootloader without having to reinstall OS X?
