Stuck at apple logo during boot after update to 10.5.2

I used the Kalyway 10.5.2 noob-proof installer...

It successfully installed, but now it won't boot... and the animated "circle" on the bottom of the apple logo keeps spinning and it freezes after around a minute.

Anyone know a solution?

Thanks

aite.

my -v also gets stuck.

the last line before it freezes is something about FireWire.

hey wait,

even if leopard does successfully work,

and you boot up in -v,

the last line before the desktop comes up is the FireWire one right?

so my error is happening during the final stages of booting...

Seems that too many people are having these problems. I have this problem and I just used the default Kalyway 10.5.1 disc. My last line when I do -v is the firewire defaults security like Software Updater said, but then it goes into the GUI with the apple logo and the spinning disc. And this happens with DVD or HDD boot.
