howarchaic
First off, I'd like to thank all you for your contributions. All your information has allowed me to get this far. Here's what I've done thus far: Used Zephyroth 10.5.2 installer, installed with sb600 kext and 9.2.0 kernel got sound to work using alcinject got networking to work, changing appleyukon didn't work, but tulip somehow did... I still need to find out how to properly take care of the 512 g92 based cards (I have the 8800gt) Also, it takes a long time to do anything in the os. Disk transfer speeds seem to be going at a sluggish 1.5 or 2 mb/s. Anyone have any tips on this as well? My info's in my sig. Thanks again. howarchaic
Hmm, I do have he SB600 kext installed, as it does work to an extent, but Unknown Devices found another controller by JMicron with Dev_ID of 2363197B. Thats in addition to sb600 IDE Controller 43801002 and SATA Controller 438C1002. Those appear to be the same that are in the sb600 kexts floating around. Could the Jmicron controller be slowing me down?Lastly, the sb600 kext I'm using came from the Zephyroth 10.5.2 dvd...Lastly, the sb600 kext i'm using came from the Zephyroth 10.5.2 dvd...Lastly, the sb600 kext i'm using came from the Zephyroth 10.5.2 dvd... inimicus
You need to defraggle your motherdisk. If that doesn't work, change your processor fluid.
