tazevedo317
ok. so i was looking on new-egg for an e6600 for my motherboard. I decided to just go look at the price for the core 2 extremes. Saw how the X6800 would be compatible with my motherboard. but 1000 bucks for a processor?. then, just for curiosity, decided to check for e6600 on ebay. ehhtheyre all around the retail price. then hmm, i looked for the x6800. and found one. brand new. retail. for $400 shipped. ordered it in a heart beat. Checked the guys reliability. 100% feedback. man am i happy. Cant wait to get rid of this e4400. An unlocked multiplier, and a stock speed of .34GHz higher. Possibly a little more cache? And that was before Penryn. Now mine is worth much less. In fact, you would probably be better with a dual core penryn. They are faster than what you just bought, i think.
