Irix56 Posted February 24, 2008 Share Posted February 24, 2008 As far as I know SpeedStep Kernel provide enhanced CPU PowerManagement. it reduce CPU FAN speed, noise, etc... Of course on OSX laptop it's could increase your battery life time as well. Anyway on my system, vanilla & SpeedStep kernels are working !
