macprodan Posted February 12, 2006 Share Posted February 12, 2006 Heard that some Apple G5 were shipped with 7800 GT as an option... think it was PCI-e as well. so why it so hard to find anything on getting one of these working on a HacMac Setup.. ? ANYONE OUT THERE WITH A G5 and 7800 GT Audio and Networking work Super, just need some sort of accel to make it Useable for everyday.. any info welcome. kikos Posted February 12, 2006 Share Posted February 12, 2006 Intel macs do not currently support nvidia cards since right now they ship with ATI. Even some ATI cards aren't supported either. People have been working on an unofficial solution. And like the person above says, the Mac G5 drivers don't work with intel macs.
