tech4
Hello Folks, I tried to install the ATIX2000.kext bundle and it kills the system. I was able to install Kalyway 10.5.1 +efi v8 and get that running but when I install anything for the ATI it crashes on reboot. I even tried NATI that was included with the installer. panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0042F4E9): "Unable to find driver for this platform: \ACPI|".\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1228.0.2/iokit/kernal/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1378 Debugger called: <panic> Backtrace, Format - Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack) 0x2ecbbdd8 : 0x12b0e1 (0x455670 0x2ecbbe0c 0x133238 0x0) 0x2ecbbe28 : 0x42F4e9 (0x499070 0x443e740 0x2ecbbe58 0x44a9cc0) 0x2ecbbe48 : 0x40d650 (0x458cb00 0x4487d00 0x1 0x3e8070) 0x2ecbbea8 : 0x40f4e5 (0x4487d00 0x458cb80 0x457d8c0 0x0) 0x2ecbbf20 : 0x40ed49 (0x4487d00 0x44a9cc0 0x8 0xffffffff) 0x2ecbbf78 : 0x40d9c5 (0x4487d00 0x0 0x2ecbbfac 0x1) 0x2ecbbfc8 : 0x19e2ec (0x44ade10 0x0 0x1a10b5 0x449f8b8) Backtrace Terminated-invalid frame pointer 0 BSD process name corresponding to currnt thread: Unknown Mac OS Version: Not Yet Set Kernall Version 9.1.0 "the rest of this is cut off" So, I'm sure it is yelling at me what is wrong but I amnot a programmer so I have no understanding what it means. Also, is there a way to capture the information on the screen so I donnot have to type it all out again. Thanks for the help. I am at the mercy of your brains.
