However, Vista has got everything it needs to play back Blu-ray movies in Media Center, and it has been speculated several times that this support will be added in a future service pack. Remember the "Cost of Windows Vista DRM" scandal? This was the reason for it: to some day add digital high-def cable (arrive a few months ago) and Blu-ray playback (coming soon).
