BlackCH Posted February 22, 2008 Share Posted February 22, 2008 well, I got my intel 3945 mini pcie replaced for a dell 1390 (broadcom 4311). and it works out of the box under 10.5.2... (beside the fact that my HP BIOS only allow me to use whitelisted devices so I had to hack the eprom in the wifi card. But if your ACER BIOS let you plug OEM hardware you should be fine). The only thing I can think about is that if your computer has an external on/off switch for the wireless you migh need to tape the pin 20 to have the card on all times.
