A small group of the intrepid have been battleing to install OS X in Asus EEE Pc. It works but there are issues. Namly recognizing the timing of the front side bus. So some of us have joined together and want to call out for help.

Currently the reward stands at $300 from us EEE users to anyone that can help with our kernal problems.

Your fsb=xxx problem has occurred many times in the sense that you NEED to search the forums better!!!

A bribe is not going to help you for we as a "community" have done enough to get OSx86 working.

Do your research, as we all have done.......

@slinger2g

If you look at our kernel page at http://tigeroneeepc.wikispaces.com/Kernels, you'll find that we did several researches and attempt.

If you are referring to passing the fsb=xxx parameter at boot time, as mentioned sometimes on insanely mac, we tested that solution with no success.

Please consider that we RTFM (or better Read The FINE Forum) many times and did many sperimentation before posting here... of course we are not kernel gurus, so please forgive us if we didn't consider something that for you guys seems obvious.

At this point, if it is just a known issue, would you mind in give us a pointer on how to solve it? (as said we are willing to reward whoever is able to fix our issues)

thanks,

blackdir

Not forgetting that the search feature is currently down anyway...

I think this is a fantastic idea, as it gives incentive for someone to work out what cannot be worked out.

Whether someone does have a go at it is another question all together!

Also what is "enabling S emulator", I just noticed its on the kernels that don't boot as well...
