danerd100 Posted February 21, 2008 Share Posted February 21, 2008 Okay, When I was trying to install this, I had to do a -v otherwise I got the famous "Still waiting for root device" But I got it installed, and now, my boot gets stuck at different parts. Here are my specs: Motherboard: Asus M2NPV-VM Chipset: North Bridge document.write(neg_specification_newline('NVIDIA GeForce 7050PV')); NVIDIA GeForce 7050PV South Bridge document.write(neg_specification_newline('NVIDIA nForce 630a')); NVIDIA nForce 630aProcessor: AMD Athalon X2 5000+ Black Edition Video: NVidia Geforce 6160 I installed off a SATA DvD Drive I installed onto a IDE 160 GB HD I have a SATA HD, and a IDE CD Drive (I can't use the IDE CD drive to install) I have tried booting using -v, -x, -x-v, cpus=1, Anyone have any ideas?
