skye Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 im new to the forum and to OSx so im kind of lost with all the differnt things iv read. i installed osx using the kalyway 10.5.1 dvd and then updated it with the kalyway combo updater and installed the video drivers. wireless works great and everything runs nice except i have no audio. iv tryed following some of the guids on here but it never works. the dell drivers for windows say sigmatel 92xx. if there is any aditional information that would be helpful let me know and i will post it. skye Posted February 21, 2008 Author Share Posted February 21, 2008 i found AppleHDAPatcher 1.20 on another site and downloaded it. i dragged sigmatel9200.txt onto it it patched it and said to restart but i still have no audio any other ideas? skye Posted February 21, 2008 Author Share Posted February 21, 2008 i thought maybe i should be more clear. when i say it doesnt work, i mean that in system preferences, audio it says no input or output devices. when i did the system profile it says no audio device.
