MarquiS Posted February 11, 2006 Share Posted February 11, 2006 hi ( and sorry my english is bad) yes now iam a mac user *happy i have osx86-fully-patched-sse2-rosetta-ati.iso this boots perfect and after install i can osx used in lcd native mode ^^ but no 3d acc. . i can mailing surfing and all office applications works (standart osx install) ok here is my questions -i have an sse3 cpu runs osx now in sse3 or sse2 mode with this iso ? -can i apply any patch to patch kernel to work in sse3 mode and wich patch to download ? -i can boot only with -x command without this after boot print osx a restart screen why ? how to fix it ? -come sometime ati Xxxx PCIe 3d acc ? or other 3d acc card ? driver (i will work only with osx ^^) -come sometime driver for sblive or other soundcards ? Ouch Posted February 11, 2006 Share Posted February 11, 2006 Maxxus patch simple disables the SSE3 emulation if you have an SSE3 cpu installed. I'm not sure about the other patches. Sounds like there is a problem with drivers, probably the video ones, which is preventing osx starting without the -x (safe mode) option which of course disables on the hardware accelleration - if you have any to begin with. Check the compatibility list in the Wiki to see what it said about your hardware and if there are any known problems.
