hp tx tx1000 tx1285 etc. wireless

I modded the io802family kext and changed the broadcom kext there.

I tried jas release of wireless.pkg 10.4.7 etc.... but inside the plugins dir the broadcom plugin has been said to be non UB, however they didnt work.

 

After doing some work myself it says:

wireless card type> airport extreme 0x14e4,0x1367

wireless card locale unknown

wireless card firmware version broadcom bcm43xx 1.0(4.80.79.1)

current wireless network> airport is currently turned off.

 

if I create a network other computers find it. however no computer can connect to me, and I may not connect to any networks.

 

my model is hp tx1285 though on the screen it says tx1000 which is the case design model.

I did a whole installer disc, now I lack only wireless support....

 

maybe I missed something? anyone able to help?
