authors Posted February 19, 2008 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Installed iLife on my kalway hackintosh (quad 6600, 8GB, 8800GT (DDR3 based), P5W DH, 500GB Sata). Runs just fine, but when I go to Garageband to download the 1.2GB instrument update it downloads, but kernel panics on the install of the update. Anyone have the same issue? Luckily I managed to make a dmg of the iLife installer before my DVD broke. Is there any way I can pass this dmg off as a DVD so I can successully update my Garageband with all the extra loops, etc.?
