rsilves
Hi. I have a computer with Leopard 10.5.1 Kalyway (didn't update to 10.5.2 yet). I have a P5W DH Deluxe motherboard and a Vitsuba Master case (which has an LCD screen for monitoring temperatures, and beeps every time I turn it on or off). Every time I want to turn it off (I do it mainly when I have to change a disk or something, so I'll turn it on and off to try different settings), it turns off (the case's monitoring system beeps) and after a second, it beeps three times (as it always does when I press the button to turn on), and turns on again! I have to keep the power button pressed for 5 seconds to force it to turn off (and apart from bothering me, I think this might damage a disk or something in the future). I think it has something to do with the motherboard, any idea? Thanks, Rodrigo ? rsilves
Did that... Did not work... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88683-turn-off-problem/#findComment-635336 Share on other sites
vaporATX
Did that... Did not work... Probably a bios version issue. For example: My P5K-E has the same issue with the 0906 bios, but works fine with the 1002 bios.
