jkv
Let's try this again. I have installed atkos 1.0i r3 on a standalone ide drive. I partition with one partition and format with mac os extended (mbr). The install goes without a hitch and it finishes and says you have succesffully installed please restart computer. Once i restart, i can't boot to the drive, it's like it's not there. If i run the DVD again, it hangs on a line that says waiting for system root. I install my windows drive and boot to it and delete the partition on the drive i installed mac on and then put a small fat partition on it. I take out the windows drive and go thru the dvd install again, it sees the drive fine and installs succesfully. Once i reboot though, I have the same issue...can't boot, and the dvd install will hang on the waiting for system root. Can someone please help me...all i get is sarcasm, and over my head answers. I'm sure somebody else must of come across this issue.
tech4
I had the same problem. In my case I had to make the DVD drive a SATA Drive as well. You can also try to booting from an external USB DVD drive. Give that a try first.
