zedzed
tle88 - I downloaded Kalyway 10.5.1. I did a quick install this morning before going to work Yet again it does not boot. Same old problem - can't find the com.apple.boot.plist (or something like that) I have tried GParted but it does not go into GUI mode. I have kalyway_leo_10.5.1.iso KalywayUpdCombo10.5.2.pkg (but this one is not really important since the boot does not work) I even have Format & Make Bootable HD for Leopard.iso but this did not help me with my boot issue. Like I said - this is the biggest PITA that I have ever encountered. Am willing to pay for someone in Toronto to help me with this. It is not worth spending another 18 hours reading poorly written guides here... ... guides that are written for super geeks and not for us wanna be geeks Here is my platform Intel D945GNTLKR mobo - bought specifically because I read it was a good hacintosh mobo Intel Pentium 4 641 cpu (since I do not need a lot of power) Pioneer 115 DVD drive - only device on IDE 250 gig SATA HD with BIOS setting set to IDE (not ACPI) That is it - nothing else in the box Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88572-toronto-seeking-help-installing/#findComment-633445 Share on other sites
