pooncoon
I got kalyway working on my new compaq thanks to Kalyway and now I am helping my dad get it on his rig... He has a DG965wh mobo 2 gb ram, access to sata and pata hard drives, and we have tried ahci and hpet settings in various on/off combinations. the error at present is: com.apple.driver.ApplePCI Configurator has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernal and com.apple.kpi components, use only one style. we first got through the entire install and got a plist error on first boot, but then we did some research and someone recommended to update the bios first, so we did that, and that is when we got this error. Using -vanilla in -v mode. I have run out of ideas and can not find the solution with any search I have been doing. I really appreciate any feedback ps. I am aware people have been "having trouble" with some of these mobos, but have seen some people saying they got it working no problem. once again, THANKS (praise kaly) EDIT sorry should not have put this in post installation.... opps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88559-dg965wh-kalyway-help/ Share on other sites
thekilobyte
I had to use external graphics to get a successful installation, i have a similar mobo. are you trying to use the internal graphics? pooncoon
we started (with installation success but with a plist error on boot) with a x600. we then removed the x600 and switched to integrated and now we have the previously mentioned error and we are unable to even access the installer.
