mtotho
im not asking for any kexts, i am just saying, what are the kexts that are responsible for making sleep work, or in many peoples case, not work. =-Devin-=
I'd love to know too. My sleep works, but doesn't. It can wake, but it never..... idles. Like, it sleeps, and immediately wakes. I even unplugged all peripherals to see if they interfere, but they don't. Maybe its my BIOS, I'm not sure. mtotho
well i am curious because.. some one else with my board said his sleep worked with default kalyway kexts.. but when he updated to 10.5.2 it stopped working. Now i updated as soon as i installed leopard via kalyway so i never tested sleep. I am planning (once i find out which ones) to just drag and drop the kalyway kexts onto my current install and hope for the best. Superhai
Sleep is the kernels responsibility. Most kernel extensions for devices that also the sleep is dependant on affects sleep. And of course also all acpi kexts, as it is an acpi feature. MrRoper
I'm thinking its acpi also but... I'm having the same issues. if i put the computer to sleep it goes into sleep mode right way same with screen saver. but i cannot wake from either of them, but possibly has to do somehow with usb controller and the relation between the two not sure at this point i dont think smbios has anything to do with it. appleacpiplatform possibly?
