easycome24 Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 My asus w7s has got a win XP and i'd like to install a leopard but the first thing i get is rebooting when i enter the installer than i tried cpus=1 it can load into the installer and install but afteri install it i cant boot it even using the dvd to boot my leopard by using -x -v cpus=1 it stops at "Still waiting for root device" so what should i do? mister_doodi Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 I had similar problems I tried different setting for few days and I made a lot of changes, I dont know which one fixed it but... I played around with ACHI/IDE settings in bios. Used both mentioned and used compatable. Installed acronis boot loader. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
