Reveeen
I have a Celeron D (320) 2.4, probably a 865 chipset board (I don't own one yet), a gig of ram, a FX5200 video card. Is this worth it? Or do I stick with Tiger? Suggestions? (there is little sense, in my mind anyway, if this is going to be too slow, I know it isn't going to be "fast", but I am seeking opinions on "usability") Thanks in advance. mraqua
Honestly? Stick with Tiger. It's just the right configuration for Tiger. There are no reports of succesfull install of Leopard on 865 chipset, you will not be able to install vanilla kernel. As I said stick with Tiger. Navaira
> There are no reports of succesfull install of Leopard on 865 chipset Oh damn! Good thing I didn't check, I wouldn't have even tried. (It works.) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/88167-honest-opinion/#findComment-628314 Share on other sites
