jabberosx Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Hi Folks, I have 10.5.1 Kalyway installed on my system and its working perfectly. The only problem is no sound. I have a Speaker icon in the taskbar and it shows AC97 Audio PCM in the sound applet. But am not getting any sound from my Laptop speakers or the headphones out. I tried to do the 6 Ch trick in Midi setup but it only shows one option of 2 ch. Any advise, pointers or help appreciated. Once i have this up and running i intend to post a complete step by step install process i followed to dualboot XP Pro with Leopard 10.5.1 on a Gateway 7330GZ (P4 w/HT) and 768MB RAM. dparada78 Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Have the same chipset on my gateway 3550gz....won't work, so i bought USB 2.0 TO 3D AUDIO SOUND CARD ADAPTER VIRTUAL 5.1 on ebay for a few bucks....added 24k sound....doesn't sound good though...some artifacts....
