Ouch
Hmm i wonder if its just a meaningless identifier or if it affects performance of rosetta in any way? Dippyskoodlez
Hmm i wonder if its just a meaningless identifier or if it affects performance of rosetta in any way? I dont think it will effect it in anyway.. it may just be used to identify it a bit.. a 750 is a g4 isnt it? perhaps its [CPU]@[# of CPU's] does rosetta exist in ppc installs? perhaps its [cpu]@[1]? who knows I really doubt rosetta could be hiding any miraculous speed boosts.. as it FLYS already.. Ouch
Yeah - its probably there for ppc apps that check your processor before launching/installing. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8782-rosetta-processor/#findComment-54736 Share on other sites
