Xplic1T Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Hey guys, i tried searching the forums but wasn't able to find what i was looking for. My system specs asus a8n-sli with an amd x2 3800+ and my video card is an nvidia 6800gs. I used the Zephyroth install disk to install and formatted the partition mac(journaled). I unchecked everything i could and kept 8800 drivers on and proceeded with the install. Everything went out without a hitch but then i get an error when i try and boot. I can add a picture later but the last thing that is said is Ntfs Driver , 3.01 or something of that nature and then a block and the system freezes. I've left it there for quite sometime and it halts. Any advice guys ? Also im trying to load my windows os through the darwin loader since it automatically routes to that and it wont let me boot windows i just get a cmd promp which i cant type anything onto. mwgdrwg Posted February 15, 2008 Share Posted February 15, 2008 Did you install it on the same drive as windows? If so you've probably messed up the MBR and will need to repair it using the recovery console on the win xp cd or download GParted live CD and use that to repair it. In any event you will also need to set up dual boot to be able to load either OS.
