InorganicMatter
Hey all, my hardware works great with PC EFI v8, and I'm going to reinstall everything this week with the latest and greatest GUID partition table and EFI bootloader strings for all my hardware. My question is, what's the most vanilla installer? I tried iATKOS and Kalyway, and both seemed to include stuff or change things I don't want. I want it as close to the real Mac OS X as possible. I'm running BrazilMac right now, but didn't like bad kexts it included (broken Time Machine FTL!), and it doesn't have X11. What's the best one for me? Is there a way to maybe modify a retail ISO just enough to booth with PC EFI and install? mtotho
use kalyways.. then use the restore factory default settings it includes in the kalyway dvd thread. Chances are you will have to manually replace kexts on any version to get everything working (sound, lan, time machine, restart, sleep) Kalyway is easiest for installing vanilla and EFI.
