max240p
Hey! I've got ASUS M2R32-MVP (AMD 580X CrossFire). Is there any chance to install Mac OSx86? I didn't find any sata drivers (nForce only) etc... Has anybody tryed to use this chipset with Mac? Thanx! G5rocks
looks like there is a chance that it works: A8R32-MVP Deluxe Asus Boots into Mac OS x 10.4.6. (JaS Repacked image) without any problems. Ethernet works, and thats the only thing i tested. No ATI Crossfire Xpress 3200 http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.4.6 If you have a spare HD then just give it a try this way you can't {censored} anything up Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/87717-how-about-ati-crossfire-xpress-3200-rd580/#findComment-625501 Share on other sites
max240p
I've tried twice - JaS and Tubgirl. SATA doesn't work in both. JaS works unstable... ionothanus
I've tried twice - JaS and Tubgirl. SATA doesn't work in both. JaS works unstable... I'm using an A8R32-MVP Deluxe (with the 580X) with Tubgirl's 10.4.10 release to post this right now, in fact, so the northbridge is supported. Your problem may be that we have different southbridges; I have some ULi southbridge and you have the ATI SB600, and I'm not sure if yours is supported. My friend has the M2R32-MVP and I think he has plans on installing the release I'm using on his board - if he gets anywhere I'll let you know. You may also want to try a 10.4.11 or a 10.5 release; newer releases tend to have better driver support than older ones, in my experience. JaS's 10.4.7 and 10.4.8 releases didn't work for me.
