Foodie Monster
I have 10.5.1 installed with options efi-mbr and no vanilla to get it work on my pc, but how do i update to 10.5.2?ive tryed all guides and they dont work on my machine, please help me Get Kalyway's ComboUpdate from "The Bay". It won't touch your Kernel or your Kexts, so it's a safe update on almost every Kalyway 10.5.1 setup. Then you can try Modbin's Kernel in Kalyway's Kernel Update package (search "kernel" in The Bay, you'll find it), as long as your CPU supports SSE3. Hope that helps. EDIT: You have a Core 2 Duo? How come you can't use the Vanilla Kernel then? No Intel Chipset on that motherboard? And also, don't run the Leopard Graphics Update on that system - a lot of people have reported problems with their updates and they all had GMA950s. sissan
Thank you very much Foodie Monster i did as you said, i downloaded the combopack from the bay and it worked succesfully also the kernel update, but as you said i cant install graphic update because i will only get 1024*768 in my display, is there a workaround to that problem? About vanilla, i dont know why i cant use vanilla in my intel, if i do it says b0error and apple.plist.boot list cant be found, i dont know if it matters if i have vanilla or not, my computer works well.
