I've been going crazy to install Mac OSX on my PC. It's a AMD 3400+ X2 with a motherboard using a AMD690G + SB600. My video card is a ATI X1950GT, and have a Maxtor 120gig SATA hard disk.

With the current news that 10.5.2 increases gaming performance dramictally, I'm more determined to see Leapard working. Especially since I play World of Warcraft as my main game.

Anyway I've tried many versions of Mac X86 from various torrent sites. At this point I don't care if I get Tiger or Leapard to work. Nothing has worked 100%.

iKATOS

With AHCI enabled ---> Detects HD and begins to install OS but after reboot the BIOS could not find a OS.

With SB600 driver found on forums ---> Same results.

Kalyway

With AHCI enabled ---> Detects HD and begins to install but installation ends with an error.

With SB600 driver found on forums ---> Finishes install but BIOS could not find a OS.

Jas 10.4.8 AMD+INTEL

With AHCI enabled ---> Detects HD and begins to install but system tries to boot with a small X in center screen.

With SB600 driver found on the forums ---> Will install and boot only if DVD is in drive. Otherwise BIOS cannot find OS. OS will only boot succesfully once.

Uphuck 1.3

With AHCI enabled ---> Detects HD and begins to install OS but after reboot the BIOS could not find a OS.

With SB600 driver found on forums ---> Same results.

You know how many times I had to burn a DVD? Well anyway, afer that huge mess I honestly don't think anyone here has ever gotten any version of Mac OSX to work on their AMD machine with a AMD chipset based motherboard.
