justvisiting Posted February 13, 2008 Share Posted February 13, 2008 after you type your password in, your prompt will change to: bash-3.2# indicating you are in super-user mode and able to complete wreck your system if you make any stupid mistakes. exit takes you back to normal user another exit quits the termnal session Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
