darren4004 Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 i have installed uphhucks os_x86 10.4.9 it all works fine my system specs are celeron 2.91Ghz 512 DDR and its installed on a second hard drive i have noticed that file transfare is rather slow i.e importing songs into my itunes is there anyway to fix this? also it has got 3 updats i have installed 1 of them itunes 7.6 the other two are mac osx combined (intel) 10.4.11 and quicktime my cpu supports upto sse2 running nvidia fx5200 with titan drivercan anybody give me any advice on what i should upgrade or install everything seems to have worked out of the box so to speak like my ethernet video ect. any help would b greatly appriciated. boba899 Posted February 12, 2008 Share Posted February 12, 2008 Well, not really. Might want to give JaS 10.4.8 a go. That's the most stable install I've ever had. But.. You can't really expect any kind of amazing speed gain with that hardware.
