I doubt you can do this.

 

OSX boot loader allow you to boot Windows, but I don't think Windows boot loader allows the same thing. Thats why you have to put OSX boot loader first place.

Is there not registry change that can do this? WinXP comes up as the first boot choice, but the default is OSX.

 

Any one else care to comment?

I'm in the same train, I don't think Jean-Phillipe answer's correct, we don't want to boot into Windows Bootloader, rather we want to have Darwin's bootloader pick Vista's partition by default.... I haven't tried passing rdiskXsY as a Kernel flag in com.apple.Boot.plist, if someone here wants to try that, let me know if it works.

you could just select the windows drive in the bios to be the 1st drive to boot.

and if you want to boot osx with my asus its hitting F8 durion bios boot it gives me a list of drive i can select the one i want to boot. this way you never have to use boot loaders.
