Install ran perfectly and everything works great. The only two things that do not work are my wireless and my resolution. The resolution is on 1024x768 and because this laptop is a widescreen it looks like junk and is kinda big. Any idea how I can fix it? It only gives me 1 option under display properties and thats it.

My ethernet works great but I would really love to get wifi working. Here are the specifics for my laptop:

wifi: Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG wireless card

graphics: Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG wireless card

display: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950

Thank you very much in advance and let me know if there is any more info I need to provide.

:D

Sry but GRAPHICS and WLAN cant be the same

Intel Pro Set Wireless 3945ABG is the WIRELESS LAN .. i ve the same :D and there is no driver yet, but soon there will be...

Graphics is intel media accellerator ... search for it (Search Function)...

Display is unimportant.. just graphic card and wlan ;) because display has nothing to do with the resolution in this case.

i ve a 17" widescreen laptop display (1440x900) and with the correct driver, you can also choose a widescreen-res.

Um... Yeah I accidentally posted my wifi card under graphics which was supposed to be the intel HMS 950. My display is a 14" wide. Anyways I searched before posting and I couldn't find anything on my issues. Does anyone have resources for the wifi or the wifi?

Thanks again and sorry for the MIS-information.

or this thread in the genius bar: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=34068

also keep in mind plz: THERE IS NO WLAN DRIVER YET.. i do also have intel pro set wireless 3945ABG or "Wifi" as you say...

there is no one.. believe me...

^^

Okay, my display issue (intel gma 950) has been fixed and works wonderfully. So anima322 says that there is NO support for the intel pro set wireless 3945ABG yet and thats really the only other issue I have. I do want to be able to boot without the DVD and I came across several tutorials so I think thats the next step and I'll just go ahead and wait until support for what I like to call "wifi" i released.

  • 1 month later...

I have an HP dv1000, but I'm unable to get past the "blue screen" after using Kalyway or Leo4Allv2. It only works sometimes but not all the time. I've tried various ways (cpus=1 -v -x -s -f) but the Leopard Installation screen only shows up probably 10% of the time out of the number of attempts.

Can you guide me and explain how you got yours to work.

At one point, I was able to update to 10.5.2 via Kalyway Combo Updater, but then after a reboot, I got the blue screen hang. Help? Thank you.

As for the wifi, I believe Javouli is working on a 2200 for leopard. And i'm not sure if the one they planned ofr 10.4.8(9) is successful yet...
