someguy360
Hi guys. Unfortunately i just replaced my dying 6600GT with a 7300GT (512MB) AGP card not realising that 512mb cards were a problem to osx. now when ever i try installing GFX drivers on my XxX 10.4.11 i brick my installation cos it just gets to the point at bootup where it starts the gui and just hangs there. I have tried natit, titan, nvinject, and more but i just cant get it working. And osx is reading the card as 256mb which i know you have to flash the card to fix but as its AGP you cant flash it with the nvinject roms. Any ideas guys
someguy360
ok after using NVinject 0.1.3 i managed to get osx to pick up that there is a 7300Gt installed. But i still dont get QE/CI or anything above 1024.768 any ideas?
Eddie Turfboer
Hi, I have an MSI 7600GS on AGP. I have QE/CI available and all resolutions available. However I only get it on one display (the DVI). Use the latest NVinjecct en be sure that you modify you NVcap in the NVinject for your card. I may be somewhat different whilst my card is 256 Mb! Not much use to me sorry. As i only have a VGA monitor so i cant use the DVI port. Any other ideas
Eddie Turfboer
Well, as I am using the DVI only I did not try to get them both working. I suppose you can with a different NVcap (see the NVinject forum).
