truetigger
If i was to install 10.4.5 (which runs soooo smoothly), what would be the easiest and safest way to update to 10.4.9 or ideally 10.4.11 without loosing the smoothness or speed? Ive seen a few updates, but am looking for one thats safe, and doesnt loose my speed or stability. All your help is much apretiated. Sorry for such a dumb question, but do i have to go from 10.4.5 to 10.4.6 then 10.4.7 ect or can i go straight from 10.4.5 to 10.4.9 or 10.4.11? Thanks again! Reveeen
If it was me, and what I did, was install the XxX 10.4.11 release right from the start. Works just fine on my old junk here. Dash-T
I have JaS 10.4.8 updated to 10.4.11 using Apple's Combo update, but keeping the original kernel. Works for me with this method: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=45283 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86654-update-1045-to-10411/#findComment-616224 Share on other sites
Dr. Hurt
If your hardware supports PC-EFI and stock kernel, install it with dsmos and just install apple's stock update.
