fluffy69
hello to everyone, i have a gigabyte ga-p35-ds3 mainboard with a c2d q6600 cpu and a 8800gt graphics board. i use one sata2 hardrive with two partitions. the first one is for xp and the second one is meant for osx. last night i set the second partition to active and formated it to mbr with the leopard discutil on the kalyway disc. now i selected the vanilla kernel, the acpi fix and the mbr installation. after reporting a succesfull install, i rebooted my machine only to find out, that it doesnt even load the darwin bootloader. what a bummer. i was desperately searching the web for a guide on how to fix this. i encountered some entrys in this forum of people expriencing the same problem, but there was no answer to the problem. btw: i also tryed several bios versions with no success. can anybody give me an idea on what to do next? thanks for reading and mybe helping Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/86647-no-darwin-bootloader-after-kalyway-install/ Share on other sites
