boondocks Posted February 8, 2008 Share Posted February 8, 2008 First off I would like to thank everyone for their contribution to the forum, I have read many post that helped me a great deal.My computer is equipped with a Realtek High Definition Realtek v6.0.1. The hardware profile says (No Built in Audio) After installing AzaliaAudio.pkg the speaker icon next to the clock appears and the volume control works but still no audio and still says (No Built in Audio) in hardware profile. I had the same problem, so I used ALCInstaller2 and I managed to get sound but only for the builtin speakers (w/o the subwoofer). At least I can hear the system alerts Hope that helps.
