moreno
I bought the new 16gb iPhone yesterday and want to jailbreak it. It has the 1.1.3 FW and the Modem version is 04.03.13_G. I've seen all kinds of posts on how to jailbreak it and I've tried a few but each time I end up with a jailbroken 1.1.2 and confused on how to upgrade to 1.1.3 and keep it jailbroken and being able to use it with my official AT&T iPhone SIM card. I'm not looking to unlock it. I'm happy with AT&T. I just want to install 3rd party apps. Is there a way to properly jailbreak it and restore the SIM on it so I can also keep using it as an AT&T iPhone? moreno
Hey thanks Berzerker. I just spent the last hour following this one also: http://www.modmyifone.com/forums/showthrea...=damaged+iphone Yours is basically the same so I thank you for your response. But to answer my own question, yes, you can jailbreak a 1.1.3 iPhone fresh from the Apple Store that has never been jailbroken or upgrade or anything. I did this to my brand spanking new 16gb iPhone following the link above, or Berzerkers which is very similar. Good luck everyone and make sure you follow each step to the T. I'm not joking here because if you screw up anywhere down the line you'll have to start all over from step one, no exceptions.
