Terrorvision101
I having trouble finding any software that will convert the signal from game controllers - joysticks, gamepads etc. into a midi signal that I can then use for reason and other software. The long term plan is to embed the the buttons from a usb game controller into an old guitar I have then play it on stage. Either that or rock out with a guitar hero controller! Terrorvision101
I've already got the thing working, and sounding ace with my PC, but I use a mac live so I need the programs. Using your search just found more PC programs This guy uses MaxMSP to generate the tones, but where is the program to convert the signals to midi, on a mac! PandaFish
Try Plogue Bidule... http://www.plogue.com/ . It's a Max/MSP-like environment that has input objects for game controllers, keyboard, mouse, etc. A lot of people use it as 'glue' to hook MIDI applications to non-standard input devices.
