I am trying on a Gateway MT6728

The specs of the machine are here.

With Kalyway, I can only boot in safe mode and with one cpu and the keyboard doesn't work

With iATKOS r2, it passes the bootloader but hangs about 20-30 lines down in verbose mode

or it hangs at darwin loader and the keyboard doesn't work.

Any help would be appreciated. Which iATKOS options should I try?

Thank you guys.

Same here. I can boot into safe mode with iAtkos, (-v -f -x) but no sound, keyboard or wireless. Haven't tried ethernet yet. Any help is appreciated. here's what Gateway shows:Wireless: 6008038RIntegrated Realtek (yes, I selected Realtek wireless in the iAtkos install)Audio: Intel High definition audio (??)Update - booted without safe mode, its slow as molasses. I wonder why, it was nice and fast in safe mode. Oh well, I think I'm going back to Vista and get a macbook down the line. Unless someone figures it out, I can always come back from the dark side!

I've installed iATKOS r2 on a Gateway MT6916. It boots fine, but I get stuck in the "welcome / do you have another mac" section (it just keeps going through it, even though it detects my keyboard). I heard something about disabling NICs to get through that? I really have no idea what to do.

Please Help

thanks

I'm typing this with my internal keyboard on my Gateway MT6728 running Leopard 10.5.2 now.

I got the keyboard working with the kext available here:

Also, wireless is working fine with the driver from Realtek. Touch pad and mouse work, also USB mouse works fine.

Now I'm hoping to get audio working.
