cyber_tods
Hi all, I'm trying to find the best / easiest way to tripple boot Vista x64, Leopard, Ubuntu.* My bios is set to 64-bit mode. There are so many methods out there and I'm confused of what to use. Right now, I only have 1 sata 80hdd. I'm planning to divide it into 3 partitions for the oses. Can anyone please give me a suggestion of what's the best method? *I want AHCI enabled in the BIOS* Please provide a link for the method. I'm really confused on where to get the right/best one for me. Thanks so much. thrillhouse
Having more that one unique OS on a single drive is tricky, especially if one of them is OSx86. The best way is to have a separate physical drive for each OS, or at least a separate one for OSx86. I've been able to set up Acronis boot loader to boot between Vista, XP, and Mac OSx86 (with mbr EFI emulation). There are other boot loaders out there too that would work. I wouldn't know how to set up Ubuntu though, although I'm sure it's possible.
