jessem
Having an issue with nForce Sata. This issue applies to the new meDevil driver and the old SATA read only kext posted to that epic nForce Sata thread about a year ago. Basically, If I don't delete Extensions.mkext before every reboot the driver will not load. This happens in both tiger and leopard and happens with both of those kexts so i'm not sure if its the driver or my machine. I'm on an AMD A8N-VM with an nForce 410/430. Anyone else experience this or know how to fix it? I tried rebuilding with kextcache but that didn't help. eddie11c
I had a similar problem, here is what I did to fix it. boot up with -f. Once inside leopard open up terminal. kextload /system/library/extensions/* it will take a few for all the kexts to load. Once its finished close terminal. I usually just browse to the /system/library folder and move extensions.mkext to the trash and restart the computer. Try that and let me know if it worked for you.
