tonyb486
WIth the Kalyway install disk, I can't partition my drive with Disk Utility, it fails with Input/Output error (and so does tiger and a few others). I have an nforce4 chipset, and a Pentium D 3.2ghz Eventually I partitioned it in linux (primary OS, no windows here) with fdisk (af partition type) and mkfs.hfsplus. The install got to the part where it actually installs and failed with a vauge error message, opening the terminal I went to the mounted directory and tried to run 'touch blah' and it failed with Input/Output error. sh0td0wn
Get MeDevil's kext and inject it on your install DVD. OSX should be able to install to that SATA drive when kext is injected. tonyb486
I think I recall seeing meDevil in the boot sequence, but I'll try in a bit.
