agios
Hi guys Ive installed Kalyway 10.5.1 Leopard on my Gigabyte P65 DS3 machine and it installs fine but when the system restarts to boot into the system, it won't boot into leopard. Has anyone had manage to resolve this using the same motherboard im using or just resolved this problem in general? Rackers
Did you format the drive to MBR using the disk utility? Make sure you didn't just tick the install option and that you actually formatted to MBR. That was my problem. agios
ye i formatted to mbr using disk utility. I'm installing it on a separate hard disk but when the system boots i hit f12 and select the correct drive to boot from so shouldnt be a problem. I had JAS 10.4.8 working fine btw...any other ideas wat i could be doing wrong? cobraf
your problem is the same i had with kalyway only i did it with guid. you need to make your HD bootable either by installing pc_efi or just using diskutility. if you had tiger then i guess you know what you are doing Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/85370-gigabyte-p65-ds3-kalyway-leopard-installed-fine-but-wont-boot/#findComment-606088 Share on other sites
